Plants Helping People

PFAP is a volunteer based organization operated as a charitable program through local Hamburg thrift shop garden center Sunshine’s Yard Supply. Founded in 2022, as Sunshine’s owner Susan Walczak was undergoing chemotherapy treatments herself for Ovarian cancer, it is our mission to seek out those in our own community who are enduring a major life crisis, a chronic illness, a disability or handicap and aid them in the upkeep of their yard work and gardens.
