October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Now here's a celebration I’m all in for! As a proud Board member, adorable adoptable dog website updater, past Volunteer Coordinator, and, ahem, four-time “Foster Fail-er”, I’m beyond grateful to support Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue—the best dog rescue group in Western New York!

While, we’re not technically a “shelter”, most of the dogs who get placed through Buddy’s came from one. Each year, we help find forever homes for hundreds of pups, giving abandoned dogs a second chance at happiness.Fellow rescue advocates, what’s your favorite shelter or rescue org?
